are many ways to know that your computer is infected with virus. If you
are familiar with computer and internet then it is very easy to know
that your computer is infected with virus. Virus can slow down your
internet connection; it can hamper your computer’s performance. And
if you are not aware that your computer is infected with virus then
after a certain time your system may crash. So it is very necessary to
know that your computer is infected with virus or not. There are some
significant signs by which you can know that your computer is infected
with virus. So if you see any one of the following signs then be alert
it may be due to Virus:
- If you feel that your computer is running very slowly. It is taking too much time in performing simple tasks, then be alert it may be that your computer is infected with virus. If your computer takes more time in starting and shut down with respect to usual time then it can be due to virus.
- If your computer crashes on running particular software or application then it is sign that something has corrupted the operating system data and your computer is infected with virus.
- If
strange messages are coming on the screen that you can’t access your
certain drives on your computer then it’s also a sign that your computer
is infected with virus.Similarly if certain applications are not
running or certain files are not opening then cause may be infection.
- If
some hardware like printers is not responding to your commands then it
also indicates that there is some problem. It may be that there is some
hardware problem but no one can deny that if your computer is infected
with virus then it may also happen.
- If you see the access menus or icon of folders or application are distorted .then it may be also a sign of infection. If your computer is infected with virus then you can also notice sometimes that size of certain files is fluctuating without accessing those files. Then definitely your computer is infected with virus.
