1. Don’t open any application before your computer boot up completely.
2. After closing any application refresh your desktop by clicking right click button of your mouse. It will remove unused files from your RAM.

6. Empty the recycle bin of your pc regularly. The files are not deleted completely until you empty the recycle bin.
7. Always make two partitions in your hard drive. Install all large Softwares (like PSP, Photoshop, 3DS Max etc) in the second partition. Windows uses all the available empty space in C drive as virtual memory when your Computer RAM is full. Keep the C Drive as empty as possible.
8. Defragment hard drives of your computer once every two months. This will free up a lot of space on your hard drive and rearrange the files so that your applications run faster. 
9. Delete the temporary internet files regularly. If possible install Ccleaner on your computer

Windows Key + D   - back to the desktop

Windows Key + C – Shows up the Charms bar. The charms bar is basically a “settings” type bar that gives you different options depending on which program you have open. Also, it lets you share something or perform a quick search.
